This certificate confirms that your documents have been destroyed in full compliance with UK GDPR and data protection requirements, giving you complete peace of mind.
Each envelope holds up to 1kg of paper, which is roughly 200 sheets. There’s no limit — order as many as you need, and there’s no expiry date on using them.
Yes. We can send envelopes to any UK address, whether that’s your home, your office, or directly to remote workers. Just place a separate order for each address, providing the delivery details at checkout and a valid email address to receive your certificate.
If you order before 2pm, your envelopes are dispatched the same working day. Orders after 2pm are sent the next working day. In most cases, you’ll receive them within 2–3 working days.
Once your envelope is filled, seal it securely and drop it off at your nearest Post Office. Keep the Royal Mail receipt — it includes your tracking number so you can follow its journey online. Postage is pre-paid, so there’s nothing extra to pay.
Once your envelope arrives at our facility, we aim to shred it within 24 hours. You’ll then receive an email confirmation along with your Certificate of Destruction.
Yes — we’ll email you as soon as your documents have been securely destroyed and include your Certificate of Destruction for peace of mind.
All returns are fully tracked, so this is rare. If Royal Mail reports an issue, they’ll follow their secure process and undelivered items are destroyed safely. If you prefer, you can also self-deliver your documents directly to our facility.
Any paper-based documents — including bank statements, bills, payslips, contracts, client files, personal letters, and other confidential paperwork.
Yes — 100% of shredded paper is recycled responsibly, helping to reduce waste and protect the environment.
Absolutely. Whether you’re a sole trader, accountant, solicitor, or small office, we offer bulk packs to make managing sensitive paperwork simple and cost-effective.
A Waste Transfer Note (WTN) is a legal document that records how shredded paper waste is handled and recycled. Personal customers don’t normally need one — your Certificate of Destruction is enough. Small business customers often don’t need a WTN either, unless your company requires it for GDPR audits or compliance records. If you do need one, we can issue a WTN upon request and cost £20 admin fee per note.
Throwing personal paperwork — such as bank statements, bills, or medical records — into household bins or recycling leaves you exposed to identity theft and fraud. Criminals often target unshredded documents to steal personal information. Secure shredding is the only way to guarantee your data stays safe and out of the wrong hands.
If you handle company, client, or employee information, you have a legal duty of care to destroy documents securely and compliantly. Failing to do so can lead to GDPR breaches, hefty fines, regulatory audits, and lasting reputational damage. Mishandling sensitive data doesn’t just risk penalties — it risks client trust and your business’s credibility.
In the UK, disposing of business documents in household bins is illegal. All business waste must be securely handled and collected by a licensed carrier.
